I have been a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in practice since 2005. I earned a Doctoral Degree at the Derner Institute for Advanced Psychological Studies at Adelphi University and completed clinical training as a Clinical Psychologist at Bronx Psychiatric Center, Jacobi Hospital and Montefiore Medical Center. In my many years of experience, I have worked as a Clinical Psychologist for the NYS Office of Mental Health, Veteran’s Health Administration and a variety of other sites in which I have served as both a Clinician and an Administrator. I have a wealth of experience as a health psychologist working with Primary Care Physicians in a variety of health settings, consulting with Physicians and training Medical residents. I have been the Director of a Behavioral Health Community program and the Director of a Residential Treatment Program for dually-diagnosed Veterans.
In addition to my work as a Clinical Psychologist, I provide clinical training and supervision to post-doctoral candidates, psychology trainees at the doctoral level and early career Psychologists for licensure.
Currently a Clinical Psychologist at an Ivy League institution, working with undergraduate and graduate students from all over the world, my varied clinical background belies a compassion, caring and abiding respect for the human spirit.

Dr. Vitti is the most personable therapist I’ve seen in my several years of therapy. She is extremely warm and I can tell that when I discuss my issues with her, she cares and wants to help me. She does not have the cold and offputting manner that some therapists I’ve seen have, but she still pushes and challenges me.
