Gynecology allows me the privilege of working with women at every stage of their lives. Every woman deserves to feel heard, understood and empowered when it comes to her health - and that's exactly how I want my patients to feel. I completed additional fellowship training in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery because I wanted to provide women with surgical options to help them heal faster than from traditional surgery. I will always recommend the least invasive approach possible for conditions including fibroids, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, pelvic pain and heavy menstrual bleeding. Along with clinical expertise, I bring empathy into the operating room and the exam room. My goal is to provide thoughtful, personalized care and to serve as a trusted partner from the time a patient is considering surgery through her follow-up care. Born and raised in North Carolina, I'm a Tar Heel through and through. I'm a proud UNC Chapel Hill alum and left my home state for New Haven, Connecticut for residency and fellowship training at Yale. While there, I was honored to receive several awards, including the CREOG National Faculty Award for Excellence in Resident Education, the Gynecologic Surgery Teaching Award and the Yale Medical School Teaching Award - all in 2025. I'm deeply involved with the national professional organization for minimally invasive gynecologic surgeons and currently serve in an elected leadership position. My plan was always to return to North Carolina, and I'm thrilled to be living and practicing in Charlotte. Outside of the clinic or operating room, you can usually find me exploring the outdoors or new restaurants with my husband, our son and our goldendoodle.
