About Dr. David Pozo
Dr. David Pozo is a board-certified internal medicine physician. He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, FL. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine through the University of Central Florida/HCA Gainesville, Consortium. Prior to his medical training, Dr. Pozo earned a Master of Science (M.S.) in Biomedical Science from Florida Atlantic University and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Molecular Biology & Microbiology from the University of Central Florida.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Pozo has experience in medical education, having served as a graduate teaching assistant at Florida Atlantic University, where he led undergraduate anatomy and physiology labs. He also has experience as a medical scribe, helping document patient encounters, which further strengthened his understanding of the clinical workflow.
Dr. Pozo is passionate about advancing his knowledge in the field of internal medicine and is an active member of the American College of Physicians and the American Osteopathic Association. He is ACLS and BLS certified and is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to his patients.
In his spare time, Dr. Pozo enjoys staying active with basketball, biking, and golfing. He also loves indulging in Korean BBQ, often eating his weight in delicious food!
