About Dr. Emilia Parrott
I chose to become a board-certified family medicine physician because it lets me care for the whole person, not just a single condition. After earning my medical degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific, I completed my family medicine residency at Community Healthcare in Tacoma, Washington, where I also served as chief resident. During residency I trained in obstetrics and newborn care alongside my outpatient work, and I later stayed on as adjunct faculty, precepting residents and teaching rounds. I believe everyone deserves access to good care, and my areas of focus include women's health, breastfeeding medicine, dermatological conditions, outpatient procedures and transgender and LGBTQ medicine. I completed additional training through the World Professional Association for Transgender Health and remain part of the Ingersoll Gender Center consult group, which supports my work with transgender patients.
