Dr. Baldwin was very understanding of my concerns and listened patiently. She was very clear throughout the procedure about her next steps. She was extremely thorough with her exam and follow up exams that she wished to conduct to make sure she was checking all the boxes for my personal health concerns. About Dr. Erin Baldwin
We are so excited to announce that we have a new doctor joining the practice. Dr. Erin Baldwin spent her early years in Mississippi, before moving to the Huntsville area in middle school. She aspired to be a doctor from a young age, and after shadowing an OB/GYN her senior year, she knew this was the path for her! She is honored to further the field of women’s health by empowering her patients through comprehensive and compassionate care. She graduated from Whitesburg Academy, where she met (and later married) her high school sweetheart, Jordan. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Mississippi with her Bachelor’s in Chemistry, and earned her medical degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Dr. Baldwin then completed her OB/GYN residency at Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Baldwin and her husband have a daughter and two Labrador retrievers. In their free time, her family enjoys walks on the greenway, time with grandparents and cousins, and traveling. She is thrilled to be back home in North Alabama to begin her practice!

Like a previous review stated you will be bombarded with notifications. Mine were conflicting. One said to arrive 15 minutes before the appointment and another said 30. Mine and several others who arrived at the same time as me were like that but the inner office was locked as they were on lunch. We stood outside waiting for 15 minutes as there is nowhere to sit. The staff was uninterested and obviously uninformed about the wait times being conflicting. The doctor and nurse were polite but not relatable to my questions about perimenopause. This seems to be the norm from what I’m hearing. As the previous person mentioned they felt rushed and I feel the best word to use for the whole experience is “glossed over.” We are actually paying good money for you to hear us complain. When nobody else cares we expect a doctor to care and address our issues. Not to say “well. If you have any problems just let us know.” When I literally just told you that I was having problems. ??

I started coming to this practice a little over a year ago. I had to get re-established as a patient w/a new provider b/c mine was no longer there. I scheduled the appointment online which was easy and convenient. After scheduling I was bombarded with notifications from the practice. In the 22 days between scheduling my appointment and the actual appointment I was contacted 23 times about this appointment, 1 phone call, 12 emails and 10 text messages. And even after confirming the appointment, completing the paperwork online, and uploading the requested documents I was still told to arrive 30 minutes prior to my appt to complete paperwork and STILL had to wait longer than anticipated. The front desk staff does not truly understand what the documents say. Luckily I had no concerns because the provider appeared annoyed, overwhlemed and uninterested.

They were so sweet to me even though I had a crappy day and ended up late. I was nervous and an absolute mess. As a first time patient they helped me through the whole process. I could cry literally. I don’t think they understand how much that meant to me.

Miss Baldwin was very kind and made me feel comfortable. I did have a long wait time , waited about 40 minutes past my scheduled time. I reckon though , there was a lot of patients, so that may be why. But once I got in, it was pretty quick after that.
