About Dr. Fangxian Lu
We are dedicated to providing excellent care and services to the women of the Houston/Stafford area and its surrounding communities. Our philosophy is to treat every patient like family, listen to their needs and concerns, follow up with patients throughout the different stages of their lives, and establish long-term relationships with patients and their families.
Dr. Lu is the owner of Sunshine Women's Care. She is a board-certified OB/GYN physician and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as a member of the Texas Medical Association and Fort Bend Medical Society. Dr. Lu has more than 20 years of experience in both clinical and academic medicine practice. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Fudan University, completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Flushing Hospital Medical Center, and is committed to providing compassionate, comprehensive care to her patients.

I never knew I could see a specialist just a few hours from booking an appointment with her. I was pleased with the visit because the doctor was there live and ready to see me. Most specialists I have seen before have long dates away for you to be seen, but it's totally a different case here. Every aspect of the visit was a top-notch!

I don't have enough words to praise Dr. Lu and her professionalism, empathy, bed-side manner, patience, knowledge and kindness that she displayed during my visit. I went to see Dr. Lu because I wanted a second opinion following my miscarriage diagnosis. Unfortunately, I ended up passing the baby prior to the visit, so I ended up going to this visit as a miscarriage follow up. She showed genuine concern and care for my situation and concerns. This time has been incredibly difficult for me; and she showed empathy and great insight. She took her time to ask questions, and walked me through everything she was doing and the reasons why. I feel so blessed to have met Dr. Lu and can not wait to come back with good news one day.
