I was dismayed by the office staff but Dr. Mohammed was exceptional and worth dealing with a less than stellar office staff to see.”

Dr. Jamal Mohammed is a passionate and enthusiastic family medicine physician with vast experience in caring for geriatrics, pediatrics, women's health, and adults. He earned his medical degree from Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara Facultad de Medicina in Guadalajara and gained valuable experience as a medical practitioner through a robust residency training program at Texas Tech University Health Science Center at Permian Basin. He is well known for the hard-working, compassionate, warm-hearted care he provides to his community. Dr. Mohammed is versatile in several languages, including English, Spanish, Amharic, and Oromo. The front desk staff are nice and professional.
The young staff that checked my bp, pulse etc is nice and professional.

The doctor was great, the staff was great. I went in for a physical, EKG, and blood work. Received my EKG results same day and the blood work results a couple days later. It was not until about a week later when I had asked for my EKG results to be emailed that I had an issue. I called the office multiple times over the course of a week. Someone from the front desk finally called me and told me I would have to come back in and take another test. After them not explaining why I had to basically pry the answer out of her. At that point she was very reluctant to tell me that for some reason there systems did not save the results of my test. At no point were they going to give me that information if I had not insisted they explain it to me. Very unprofessional.

Wonderful experience as a new patient. Spent more time with me than any other doctor and because of that he got a really good grasp of my medical history and timeline of events leading to my need to see him. Very soft spoken and pleasant and made me feel very relaxed and comfortable. Most importantly he addressed all of my issues and a terrific plan was put into place.

I recently visited Dr. Jamal Mohammed for the first time, and the experience was excellent. I scheduled my appointment through ZocDoc, and when I arrived, I was called in within five minutes. A nurse checked my vitals, and then Dr. Mohammed joined me. He noticed my high blood pressure and took the time to inquire about my lifestyle and diet. He introduced me to 'sleep hygiene' and suggested changes to help manage my blood pressure. He also prescribed medication to assist with this. The blood draw, which usually makes me anxious, was painless, thanks to the skilled nurse. A week later, I met with Dr. Mohammed to review my lab results, and he prescribed a 90-day supply of vitamin D. Dr. Mohammed is knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely cares about his patients. I highly recommend him!

Despite the long wait, the visit with Dr. Mohammed itself went very well. He has great bedside manners and he actually listens to your concerns. He doesn’t offer any pushback either. It has been difficult for me to find a good primary care provider in my area and he checked all the boxes. His staff is also very nice, just time management could be better. Memorable staff was Arlene and Rosie. I do still recommend him solely due to my interaction with Dr. Mohammed. I would recommend getting there at least 15-30 minutes before your appointment.

I was looking for a doctor who would listen and help. I was able to get both and they also worked fast. Got results same day and will get more results within 3 days.
Staff was super kind and fun as well.
It’s the Doctor experience I was hoping to have maybe even better.

The most helpful Doctor I've visited in my 36 years on earth. He has fantastic bedside manners, and listens to understand, not to dismiss patients concerns. His nurses and staff are exceptional in the service and level of professionalism. Highly recommend this Doctor.
