Anatomy and physiology have fascinated me for as long as I can remember. That curiosity is a big part of what drew me to medicine and, ultimately, to the surgical side of obstetrics and gynecology. There is something deeply satisfying about applying a precise understanding of the body to solve complex gynecologic problems for my patients. From 1999 to 2022, I practiced as a general OB-GYN in private practice, including with Novant Health Rankin OB/GYN. That breadth of experience across general obstetrics and gynecology shaped how I think about patient care and sharpened my focus on what I find most meaningful: finding minimally invasive surgical solutions for women dealing with complex gynecologic conditions. My goal is always to achieve the best possible outcome while minimizing recovery time and the impact on my patients' daily lives.
