About Dr. James Fleishman
Dr. Fleischman is an eye physician and surgeon who has been successfully practicing ophthalmology for more than 30 years. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University and completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Huntington Memorial Hospital. Dr. Fleischman did his residency in Ophthalmology at New York University Elaine A. and Kenneth G. Langone Medical Center and pursued fellowship training in Anterior Segment and Laser Surgery at the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
He patented an innovative design for an intraocular lens implant used in cataract surgery and conducted pioneering research with the first YAG laser in the United States for treatments after cataract surgery. Dr. Fleischman has authored several articles in major ophthalmic journals and has lectured at numerous eye institutes around the country.

Staff was great and friendly but the doctor and the wait was absolutely ridiculous. I waited over 3 hrs then finally they grabbed me to see the doctor, I sat in a exam room for 30 minutes and got upset to I walked out to leave just to see the doctor with another patient that was after me and still in the waiting room when I was brought to exam room. Don’t waste your time and come here! You’ve been warned so if you go the joke is on you and enjoy sitting for hours!

I really liked all the staff. I have a follow up in 6 months and I'm definitely returning for that. I felt like the exam was very thorough. I got answers I was looking for. The Dr was honest and I got the prescription that I needed. Overall I was very satisfied with my visit.

Dr. was able to clear my clogged eyelid successfully, right after the appointment that night the eye started feeling so much better, and less swollen. He was salvation for the chalazion that I had. Also prescribed really good eye drops to follow with after the visit. He def knew what he was doing and didn’t hesitate to address the issue successfully
