About Dr. Kathleen Persavich
I have been providing general OB/GYN care in Charlotte since 2009. I love the variety of patients I get to see, medical issues I get to address, and life changes I get to witness. I am fortunate to have established, meaningful relationships with my patients that extend well beyond their reproductive years. It is an honor to care for people as they move through all of life's stages. I want to empower my patients to take control of their health. I provide the necessary information and resources so they can understand what is happening and why. Together, we can then make informed decisions regarding options when needed. I am a good listener, and I strive to show my patients I truly care about them. I grew up in Cicero, Indiana, a town outside of Indianapolis. I attended undergrad at the College of William and Mary, where I played on the golf team and met my husband while playing on a co-ed flag football team. I then attended medical school at Indiana University School of Medicine. We moved to Charlotte in 2009 for my residency at Carolinas Medical Center and are proud to call this city home. We have two children who keep us very busy. We love to travel and explore new places. I continue to enjoy golf when I can, which has now become a family event for us most Sundays. I am also an avid pickleball player. When looking for indoor activities, I love doing crafts, hosting parties and playing Mahjong. You will rarely catch me sitting still!
