Kayla Street, MD, attended Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana, graduating with her medical degree in 2021. She then relocated to Houston to complete the Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program at the McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) in 2025. Dr. Street joined Kelsey-Seybold’s OB/GYN department in September 2025. Dr. Street became a physician to bridge gaps in care with compassion, clarity, and accessibility after witnessing her grandparents struggle to access care and understand their health due to limited health literacy. As an OB/GYN physician, she offers comprehensive women's healthcare, including well woman exams, contraception, and family planning counseling. She has a special interest in low- and high-risk obstetrics, postpartum care, sexually transmitted infections, management of abnormal uterine bleeding, menopause, endometriosis, fibroids, and vaginal bleeding and discharge. While caring for patients through joyful milestones and vulnerable moments, Dr. Street learns from her patients’ strength, stories, and resilience — a privilege that makes her work deeply meaningful.
