About Dr. Kina Khatri
Dr. Kina Khatri's life changed over four years ago when her role in the doctor/patient relationship was reversed with her breast cancer diagnosis. It was this experience as a patient that motivated her to pursue her passion for holistic medicine. A board-certified physician with 10 years of experience, Dr. Khatri earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Alabama. She completed her internship at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, followed by residency training at Mount Sinai Hospital, and a fellowship at the University of Illinois, Chicago. In 2017, she began additional training in functional medicine, going on to become fully certified through the Institute for Functional Medicine.
