Lacey Morris, LMFT

Psychotherapist
CA
As a child, I was always very sensitive and curious about the world around me. It came naturally to help people, and I knew I wanted to give back to the world at large. Like you, I experienced some childhood wounds. My parents did the best they could with the tools they had, but due to their struggles, I became a very codependent child, wanting to save and fix my parents simply to gain the love I desired. Later, I was able to understand this cycle and recognize some of the patterns I lived out-people pleasing, losing myself in toxic relationships, and not fully loving the little girl inside of me. After earning my Master's in Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University and becoming a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), I gained the knowledge and tools necessary not only to break my own patterns but also to help others find joy and deep meaning in their lives. I specialize in helping people understand their patterns and become more effective communicators in their world. My role is that of a guide and coach, providing innovative approaches based on Gestalt Method, Ancient Forgiveness Techniques, Psychodynamic Therapy, NLP, and Hypnosis. I use these techniques to help clients break patterns-many of which are fear-based and stem from early childhood trauma that causes emotional challenges in the present. This is deep and powerful work, essential for creating a positive path toward the future you desire. I look forward to working with you and guiding you on the path to healing and freedom.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
