She has held leadership positions like President-Elect of Upson Regional Medical Center’s Medical Executive and Credentialing Committee, President of the Morehouse School of Medicine Resident’s Association and Vice-Chair of American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists Junior Fellows. Dr. Baker has presented at the local and national levels on her research and various health issues. She is currently completing a fellowship in Transformational Healthcare Leadership at the Morehouse School of Medicine. Her clinical interest include the centeringpregnancy model of group prenatal care, state-wide Perinatal quality improvement, minimally invasive GYN surgery, and systems-based practice. In 2014, Baker launched her own Health and Information Technology consulting firm, Lotus Group LLC. Dr. Baker is a Georgia native, born in LaGrange, enjoys music, books, shopping for discounts, and interior design.
