After her family relocated to Atlanta due to the impact of Hurricane Katrina in 2005, she chose to complete her medical training at Emory University School of Medicine and Rollins School of Public Health earning a MD and MPH degree simultaneously. She completed Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at Morehouse School of Medicine serving as the Administrative Chief Resident in 2017. Since then, she has practiced General Obstetrics and Gynecology with special interests in family planning, fertility management, peri-menopause and menopausal conditions and minimally invasive surgery techniques. She emphasizes passionate, patient-centered care and seeks to improve the disparities in care for women and minorities within the medical community. In her spare time, she and her husband enjoy exploring eateries in the metro-Atlanta area and traveling.
