About Dr. Mark Fuoss

Dr. Fuoss received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and his pharmacy degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. He served as chief resident while completing his obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University Health Center of Pittsburgh and Magee-Womens Hospital. He is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Fuoss served in the United States Navy as an obstetrician/gynecologist and was involved with development of the Midwife Demonstration Project. Areas of special interest include preventive women’s health care, obstetrics and management of labor and delivery, menopause management, gynecologic infections, minimally invasive surgery, menstrual disorders, and management of abnormal pap smears.

I was a new patient with Dr. Duos and desperately needed my nexplanon removed due to negative aid effects. I’m from out of state and was struggling to get an appointment with any other provider. I got in within one week with Dr. Fuoss’ officd. My wait was ~20 minutes but I was at my appointment super early. I got in a room like 3 minutes after my appointment was supposed to start it. He was very efficient, listened to my problems, and removed the nexplanon without question. He immediately prescribed me an alternative method as well. 10/10 experience
