About Dr. Mirka Trejo
Dr. Mirka Trejo was raised in Mexico and is a proud native Spanish speaker. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology with Magna Cum Laude honors from the University of North Texas in Denton. She received her medical degree from the UT Long School of Medicine in San Antonio and completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the UT Health Science Center in San Antonio, where she served as Chief Resident during her final year.
Dr. Trejo is passionate about providing comprehensive, personalized care in both obstetrics and complex gynecological cases. She is dedicated to serving the women of Dallas and is excited to contribute to the future of medicine by teaching residents and medical students at BUMC.
In her free time, Dr. Trejo enjoys spending time with her husband and family, exploring new restaurants, and taking long walks with her dog, Kai.

I really loved this place! Reception was sweet and personable. Dr. Trejo was very knowledgeable and I really felt like she listened to me. She took the time to talk to me and I felt like I mattered. I also had bloodwork done and the phlebotomist was funny and kind. I don't think I saw a single man on staff and I think that made me feel really comfortable too. Overall, I had a great experience and I will be going back. Something about the way that I was taken care of made me feel welcomed and cared for. Thanks so much ladies!!

I really liked this place! This was the first OBGYN who truly listened to all my concerns and didn’t try to push hormonal birth control as a “fix” for my issues. The doctor I saw was friendly, attentive, and efficient. I’ll definitely be coming back and using them as my primary OBGYN!

The doctor was amazing. Even though I was only there for my annual I had some questions that I wanted to ask and she not only gave me the time to ask without feeling rushed she gave me genuine answers that made me feel like she was paying attention to my concerns. My only complaint is that the only parking available for the office was valet. I feel like when they reach out to new patients they should provide that information so that it does not come as a surprise.
