About Dr. Sade Adeyi
Sade Adeyi, MD is a board-certified Family Medicine physician dedicated to providing comprehensive and patient-centered care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Africana Studies from the University of Pittsburgh before obtaining a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from George Washington University. Dr. Adeyi then pursued her medical degree at Howard University College of Medicine, followed by her internship and residency in Family Medicine at Georgetown Hospital/Providence Hospital in Washington, DC.
With a strong passion for preventive medicine and chronic disease management, Dr. Adeyi takes a holistic approach to patient care. She is committed to helping patients prevent disease, manage acute and chronic conditions, and navigate the healthcare system effectively. Her clinical interests include preventive medicine, primary care psychiatry as well as the management of metabolic health disorders such as obesity; she also has a budding interest in evidence-based lifestyle medicine and peri-menopause and menopause management. She believes that incorporating evidence-based preventive medicine and lifestyle changes can significantly improve both physical and mental well-being.
Dr. Adeyi values the opportunity to build trust with her patients by listening to their concerns and understanding their unique experiences. She finds fulfillment in forming meaningful connections and tailoring care plans to meet each individual’s needs. Outside of medicine, she enjoys reading as well as traveling internationally with her husband and two children.
