Dr. Lackermann is down to earth, practical, and has they comprehensive understanding of wellness. I did a virtual visit, and it was convenient, and quick. My prescription was called in quickly, and I was on my way to feeling better by the end of the day.

I never leave reviews, but I just wanted to write to maybe be able to help someone else out and prevent them having the frustration I did.
I was extremely dissapointed with my visit to Dr. Lackerman's office. As I was looking for a new doctor in our area and I I had scheduled an annual physical with Dr. Lackerman through ZocDoc. However, when I went in she did not perform a physical and just recommended specialists for the specific issues (which I already knew). She knew nothing of my history (although I have been in the IU network for quite some time) and to be honest, did not advise on anything. She then just wanted me to come back in 3 months later to "follow up".
A few months later when billing came out, I realized I was charged a large amount and insurance did not cover it because she did not perform a technical physical that day. Therefore, I ended up paying a large amount to drive over an hour and get told that she didn't know most any of my history/status and simply to see specialists... which again I already knew.
I have also called the billing office and the IU Health North office over three times and am either left on hold for an extremely long time or they are not able to help me. One assistant left me a message but just confirming that Dr. Lackerman DID NOT perform a physical and then asking if I want to schedule one.
I just wish I could advise someone to avoid this situation. I ended up spending a lot of money for a visit that did nothing, a lot of time trying to figure out why it was charged differently, and MUCH frustration. I highly recommend choosing a different doctor or even a different office. I have been a member of IU Health for years, but at this point think at this point I am likely to switch providers because of this disappointing experience.
