I have practiced family medicine since 2011 and believe that everyone should have a personal doctor to help them reach their health goals, improve overall health, and prevent chronic disease. I earned my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Des Moines University and completed my residency in Family Medicine at Saint Anthony North Hospital. My philosophy and style in practicing medicine is to truly partner with patients in their health journey. I believe the body has an innate ability to heal itself. I enjoy discussing prevention, diet, and exercise to help patients feel their best. I also believe a holistic approach to care-addressing mind, body, and spirit-will improve quality of life and overall health. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family on our farm or at my kids' sporting events.

Absolutely loved Dr. Vander Pol. She was super attentive to my needs and wants and really made me feel heard.
