About Dr. Sharon Bush-Coaxum
Dr. Sharon M. Bush-Coaxum, born and raised in Mobile, AL, received her Bachelor's degree from Tuskegee University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of South Alabama School of Medicine and completed her residency at Tulane University. She is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. In addition, Dr. Bush-Coaxum is proud to serve her country as a Flight Surgeon in the United States Air Force Reserve, where she provides medical care for our nation's Airmen and veterans. As an OB/GYN, she feels privileged to be such an integral part of women's healthcare through each stage of life. She states, “I am dedicated to providing high-quality care for each patient from adolescence to menopause and beyond. I understand the value of communication and take the time to listen to my patients.” Dr. Bush-Coaxum's special interests include preventative healthcare, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, and low- and high-risk pregnancies. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, watching football, and relaxing at the beach.

The level of care you feel when you walk through the door cannot be duplicated anywhere else. WOC this is the office for us by us!!! I’m so relieved to have found this practice as I was about to give up on treatment all together, feeling “invalidated and dramatic”. Where has this level of care been all my life?

Takes absolutely ridiculously long to get into appointment you get there early and it’s still packed. I didn’t even know which door to go through because it didn’t say the name of the place but on a sign along with another buisness together in the same place. Never got to see the doctor because she took over an hour so I left because appointment time was 10:45 I left almost around 12:00pm waiting. They were taking people that were even after me do not recommend.

I Hadn’t been to my Gyn in 2 years because HE did not hear me, but Dr Bush Was god sent. When I left her office we had a plan. I have not felt “right” since my total hysterectomy a few years ago. My husband read an article and suggested I contact her. Thank you Dr Bush

I’m 55 and this was by far the best experience that I’ve had!! I’m normally nervous and tensed but the was the opposite!! From the front desk to the examination table every interaction was amazing!! Dr. Bush-Coaxum was attentive and on point with her questions. She really cared about my medical history and wellness. She was professional, friendly and so very easy to open up to. The office was clean and organized. That’s also very important to me!
I would recommend Dr. Sharon Bush-Coaxum to every woman without hesitation! Try her for yourself…you won’t regret it! ????
