“Was seen quickly, which is nice but felt a little rushed. Doctor was very nice but would have liked maybe 5 more minutes with the doctor. Receptionist had a little bit of an attitude but then was also nice at times, so hard to get a feel for her. Will probably be back since they take my insurance and was a nice enough experience. ”

About Dr. Shruti Benjamin
Dr. Shruti Benjamin was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas. She attended Texas Tech University and graduated with honors with a degree in biology. Dr. Benjamin remained in Lubbock to obtain her medical degree at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine. After deciding to dedicate her career to OB/Gyn, she did residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. She was elected to the position of Administrative Chief Resident. During her time as a resident she was awarded the Outstanding Resident in Obstetrics and Gynecology award by her peers at the Southwestern Gynecologic Assembly and also the distinguished Joseph Warren award. Dr. Benjamin met her husband, an internal medicine physician in Frisco, during high school. They enjoy spending time with their family and friends and traveling the world together.

Staff was super friendly. I’m typically really anxious with appointments like this, but everyone’s attitude was so great that it helped put me at ease. Dr. Benjamin was an excellent listener, very knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable. I would recommend her!

The nurses and front staff were very nice. However, the doctor was rude and didn’t listen to my concerns. When I was seen it was too many people in the room. It was three of them and I felt uncomfortable. Also, I felt that doctor was being judgmental and I don’t plan to go back.

Dr. Benjamin was very friendly, and made me feel comfortable as soon as I met her, which obviously is important in this kind of environment. She listened to my questions and answered them in a respectful and helpful way and was very relatable and well-spoken. Dr. Benjamin seems to foster an office where all the staff are kind and helpful.

I had a wonderful experience! The only issue was the bloodwork done in office by Quest Diagnostics. The employee I had was just very slow and my blood being drawn unfortunately hurt :(
However, everything in the women’s health office, start to finish, was amazing.
