Medicine should be about more than physical well-being. That philosophy is at the center of the care I provide, and rooted in my training in osteopathic medicine. That discipline encourages providers to treat the whole person - mind, body and spirit - to achieve the best outcomes possible. With every patient encounter, my goal is create individualized, evidenced-based care plans that are tailored to each patient's unique needs, whether they are navigating pregnancy, managing menopause or seeking care in transgender health. I specialize in minimally invasive surgery using the da Vinci Surgical System, alongside providing a full spectrum of obstetric and gynecologic care. That can include managing high-risk pregnancies, offering pregnancy loss support, helping patients during menopause and providing hormone management. I'm proud of the support that I provide to both my patients and to those working around me. I was honored to be recognized by Charlotte Magazine as one the of area's Top Doctors, an award voted on by patients. I also received the University of North Carolina School of Medicine's Teaching Award, which I earned for contributing to the careers of those around me. I am a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I met my husband while attending college in Kentucky, and together we returned to Pennsylvania for my medical training. In 2016, we moved to North Carolina, and we've called Charlotte home since 2019. My husband and I think the Queen City is a great place to raise our two children. We love spending time together outdoors, and playing with our fur baby, Citra.
