About Dr. Stephanie Skelly
Dr. Skelly has been practicing medicine for over 30 years. Her clinical areas of interest are high-risk obstetrics, menopausal care, and hormone therapy. She has been board certified with the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology since 1999. Dr. Skelly earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Louisiana State University in New Orleans and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Alabama, Birmingham.
Originally from New Orleans, LA, Dr. Skelly loves Mardi Gras! She lives with her husband and two children. Her family enjoys restoring their historic home, which was built in 1904.
Dr. Skelly also enjoys spending time with her pets—four cats and a Newfoundland dog. Her other interests include gardening, cooking, reading, traveling to Europe, and learning about other cultures and history.

I felt that my breast exam was not very thorough. I have very thick, full breasts and I’m used to Avery thorough physical xamination of my breast tissue. dr. Shelly seemed to do only very minor exam of my breast tissue.

I absolutely love her. I would recommend anyone to come see her and Heartland defenintely takes care of their patients. They did as much research as they could to safely deliver my daughter when I have a Spinal Cord Stimulator.
