Getting to know Yoana Luna

Hi, I'm Yoana Luna, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #138998) currently working under the supervision of a licensed practitioner at Hope Matters Institute. I'm bilingual in Spanish and English, and I work with children of all ages, adults, couples, and older adults, using a person-centered approach that honors each individual's unique journey. I hold a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Bachelor's degree, both from the University of Phoenix. With over 20 years of experience working in a variety of settings and with diverse populations, I've developed a deep understanding of the many challenges people face, including couples counseling, domestic violence, family conflict, grief and loss, and anxiety. I have a special passion for working with couples, helping them navigate their challenges and build stronger, healthier, and more fulfilling relationships. It's a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they work toward healing and growth.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I bring specialized training and experience in working with children, young adults, and women who have experienced domestic violence. My areas of expertise include trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy, and couples therapy.
