Zohreh Nikkhah Abyaneh, MD, FACOG (Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology)
Dr. Abyaneh is board certified in obstetrics & gynecology and accepting new patients. She is devoted to comprehensive primary care and reproductive medical care for women of all ages. From adolescent transition, pregnancy, and childbirth to menopause management, Dr. Abyaneh offers exceptional quality care for her patients. Dr. Abyaneh is affiliated with both Fairfax Hospital and Sentara Potomac Hospital.
Dr. Abyaneh graduated from Tehran University of Medical Sciences and went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Before going into medicine, she finished two years of midwifery school in Iran. She has done research on laparoscopy and ablation and has publications on these subjects. Dr. Abyaneh has a passion for OB-GYN and enjoys taking care of her patients. In her spare time she enjoys painting and antiquing.

She is a GREAT doctor ! The manner in which she communicates with you , makes you feel very comfortable ! Her and the office manager Brenda are both amazing. I would recommend her to any young ladies going for their first experience , or any women period. But I definitely see her working great with young women ! She’s very motherly and loving. Amazing doctor.

It was the most chaotic practice I had ever visited. The office and rooms seemed non-hygienic. Patient privacy was not respected. They do not return calls with lab results at all. I will never go back there again, and I would strongly discourage anyone from wasting their time with this practice. No one seems to care about patient privacy, time, tests, etc here.

Dr. Abyaneh was great! She's the first gyno I've ever visited that seemed to care especially for those who aren't pregnant, aren't active, and doesn't try to sell birth control for those that aren't active, unlike other gynos in the area.
My only complaint is the front desk. It took an hour to be seen and that was after standing at the front desk asking how much longer of a wait. I had to ask for new patient forms after waiting about 30 minutes.
