Getting to know Aarin Kristin Cox
I believe therapy should be a unique experience tailored to each client, just as every individual is unique. I see therapy as holding a safe and sacred space where a therapeutic alliance is built between client and therapist. This alliance enables clients to express themselves authentically, share their struggles, create goals, and overcome obstacles-leading each person to become the best version of themselves. As a therapist, I strive to be there every step of the way, providing competence, support, and encouragement not only to overcome challenges but also to help you find meaning in the journey.
I graduated from Xavier University with my undergraduate degree. I hold a Master's in Social Work from the University of Cincinnati and an MA in Clinical Psychology from Union Institute & University. I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) in the state of Ohio. I provide individual therapy for adults ages 18 to 65+, addressing a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, racial healing, stress, grief, and trauma.
