Hi, I’m Aaron. If you’ve found yourself here, it’s likely that today feels tough—and you're ready for a change. As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with nearly two decades of experience and a Master’s in Counseling from the University of Phoenix, I’ve had the privilege of helping couples, families, and individuals find their way forward. Take a deep breath and know that support is available. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Gottman Couples Therapy to provide structure and insight. Whether you’re seeking guidance in your relationship, navigating the challenges of parenting, or managing the stress and anxiety life often brings, I’m here to help you find a path to meaningful and lasting change. My approach I draw from CBT, DBT, and Gottman Couples Therapy to provide structure and insight. My focus I work with individuals facing challenges with anxiety, depression, and substance abuse, as well as couples experiencing relationship conflicts. My communication style Clients tell me my communication style is warm and caring while also being honest and direct. I want to create space for all emotions, including humor! My journey to mental healthcare We’ve all had experiences in life that knock us down. My journey to becoming who I am today is too long to explain in this space, but I will say this: it was both those who offered poor advice and those who were honest and direct with me who inspired me to help others face the sadness, loneliness, and feelings of shame that we all encounter. All of these experiences led me to become a therapist. My goals for you As my client, you’ll take an active role in the goal-setting process. There needs to be a measurable goal—getting in the car without a destination is just driving around.
