Abby focuses on trauma, grief, and addictions of all kinds, including alcohol, benzodiazepines, opiates, sex, shopping, and eating issues. She consistently works with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders. When working with a client, Abby first helps them establish goals they identify as their primary focus. She then explains options such as different types of therapy and outlines steps toward those goals through personalized plans created together with the client. This stair-step process ensures the client moves forward steadily. Abby holds a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor's degree, both from Tarleton State University.

I am a strengths based, solution focused counselor to help you make the decisions and determine options for your best self and to move towards your goals.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
I start with a get-to-know-you session, learn your therapy goals and aspirations, and help determine a solution-focused approach. I am direct, supportive, creative, and empathetic to help a client learn to advocate for themselves, increase goal-oriented behaviors, and process what is holding them back, including issues with trauma, grief, or addiction.

Initial session: $200 for 60 minutes
Ongoing session: $200 for 60 minutes
