Getting to know Abigail Lynch

I am an LCPC in Illinois and an LPC in Wisconsin, working with clients aged 18 and older who are struggling with Anxiety, OCD, Phobias, and Perinatal/Postpartum Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADS). I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Counseling from Marquette University. I use evidence-based treatments to help reduce the symptoms that clients find are interfering with a values-based life. I strive to foster a warm and welcoming space where clients feel comfortable sharing what is coming up for them and where they can address their concerns head-on with me. I hope to have the chance to work with you if you are struggling with any of the areas I specialize in!

What should a new client know about working with you?

I approach all clients with empathy, non judgment and openness while also using scientifically based treatments to help them get better. I am warm and compassionate as well as direct.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

First we would do a 15 minute free phone consultation to make sure we are a good fit and then move to scheduling your initial intake session. During that session I would assess for what is diagnostically going on and we would come up with treatment goals to guide our work together.
