Hi there, I'm Abigail! Hello, I am Abby, an experienced and empathic marriage and family therapist who provides services to individuals, couples, and families for issues including relationship struggles, depression, parent/child difficulties, co-parenting challenges, ADHD, and PTSD. I hold a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Messiah University. I also have a background as an addictions counselor and experience with Family Based Therapy. My approach I use a combination of CBT, Strength-Based Focus, Relational Focus, and family-focused therapy styles to help with emotional regulation, developing boundaries, self-care, and overall awareness. My focus I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating transition periods and challenges such as relationship struggles, depression, parent/child difficulties, co-parenting struggles, ADHD, and PTSD. My goal is to help clients build skills that allow them to feel better about themselves and develop a more positive outlook on life. My communication style My communication style is calm, accommodating, and personable. I want my clients to feel comfortable talking with me about anything, and I pride myself on my ability to listen without judgment. I provide a safe, non-judgmental, and therapeutic space to support healing. My journey to mental healthcare I decided to become a therapist because I have always been naturally drawn to helping people through difficult times. Starting therapy can be scary and is the first big step in the healing process. I want to help others become the best version of themselves.
