With experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Somatic Therapy she creates a personalized experience that offers both immediate relief and lasting change. As a first-generation immigrant, Ada specializes in helping individuals manage menopausal stress, depression and anxiety, and supports women with PCOS/ PMDD by combining practical strategies with a holistic mind-body approach. Whether you’re looking to break unhelpful patterns, build resilience, or reconnect with yourself, Ada offers a safe and supportive space for growth in both English and Spanish. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from National Louis University. Schedule a session today to take the first step toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Her style is warm, nonjudgmental, and goal-oriented—focused on helping you gain practical tools while also creating space for deeper healing and self-discovery. Clients should know that working with Ada is a collaborative, supportive, and empowering experience. She offers therapy in both English and Spanish. Ada integrates evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you shift unhelpful thought patterns, Motivational Interviewing to support meaningful and sustainable change, Somatic Therapy to strengthen the mind-body connection, and Humanistic Therapy to foster authenticity, self-acceptance, and personal growth.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My approach is client-centered and tailored to each woman’s unique needs, especially those navigating menopause, perimenopause, PCOS, and PMDD. I begin with a comprehensive initial session to understand your symptoms, concerns, health history, lifestyle factors, and personal goals. From there, I create a customized treatment plan designed to support your emotional well-being, hormonal health, and overall quality of life. I specialize in supporting women experiencing mood swings, anxiety, depression, irritability, sleep disturbances, body image changes, burnout, and life transitions related to hormonal shifts. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I help you identify and reframe unhelpful thought patterns that can intensify stress, PMDD symptoms, or menopause-related anxiety. Through Motivational Interviewing, I support you in making sustainable lifestyle changes that align with your values—whether that includes stress management, boundary-setting, or health-related goals. I also incorporate Somatic Therapy to address the mind-body connection, helping you regulate your nervous system, reduce cortisol-driven stress responses, and feel more grounded in your body during perimenopause or PCOS-related challenges. My Humanistic approach emphasizes self-compassion, identity shifts, and self-acceptance—particularly important during hormonal and life-stage transitions. Throughout our work together, I create a safe, collaborative, and culturally sensitive space where we focus on practical coping strategies, emotional regulation, resilience-building, and meaningful, lasting change—at a pace that feels supportive and empowering for you. If you’re looking for therapy for menopause, perimenopause, PCOS, or PMDD, I’m here to help you feel balanced, understood, and supported in this season of life.

Very unprofessional, I booked an appointment and was not reached out to at all. I called the office about 8 times from 6:20-7:25; for reference my appointment was at 6:45. Do not book with her last minute I guess? I booked my appointment at 2pm for a same day that would've been at 6:45pm. Dissatisfied but god forgives
