What should a new client know about working with you?

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work across a variety of clinical settings—including outpatient and inpatient drug and alcohol treatment programs, community mental health, and private practice. These diverse experiences have shaped my understanding of the many ways people cope, adapt, and grow. My areas of focus include adjustment difficulties, life transitions, anxiety, depression, ADHD, self-esteem challenges, and mood disorders.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our work together, I use an integrative approach that draws from Client-Centered Humanistic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). While I’m not formally trained in trauma-specific modalities such as EMDR, I maintain a trauma-informed perspective and always consider how past experiences may influence present challenges. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and the importance of truly understanding each individual’s unique story. My approach is strengths-based, collaborative, and present-focused—though we’ll explore the past when it’s meaningful to your healing and growth. Together, we’ll work toward practical, personalized solutions that support your goals and values.
