Hello, my name is Adam Freed, and I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Pennsylvania Western University. I understand that seeking counseling can be an intimidating and challenging process. Not all counselors are the same, just as not all clients are the same. Finding the counselor that fits one's own needs is extremely important and is a part of the process that should not be overlooked. As a counselor, I operate from the perspective that the client is the expert of their own life, and the counselor is a helpful tool to allow the client to use in meeting one's full potential. My goal is to offer a different perspective to you to allow you to challenge your thoughts and identify the impact that these thoughts have on one's life. I offer a non-judgmental environment where we can build a trusting relationship to help you gain a better understanding of yourself. I have experience working with individuals who have a wide variety of diagnoses, including but not limited to depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, and personality disorders.
