What should a new client know about working with you?

Adam's style is nonjudgmental, client-centered, and strengths-based. He prefers to "meet you where you are," using your own words and behaviors to help drive change toward your goals. His clients often describe him as warm, attentive, and direct when needed. Adam believes therapy works best when there’s a strong therapeutic relationship and a shared sense of purpose. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just ready for something different, Adam will walk alongside you with curiosity, compassion, and honesty.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During your first 2–3 sessions with Adam, you can expect him to ask questions about your history and the concerns that brought you to therapy. Together, you’ll begin to clarify what you want to work on and what meaningful progress would look like for you. From there, Adam collaborates with you to develop a clear treatment plan rooted in your goals. He’ll also explain the evidence-based approaches he’ll be using to help you get there. You don’t need to come to each session with an agenda. Adam will guide the process, helping you explore patterns in your thoughts and behaviors—both past and present—and gently support you in gaining insight and building momentum toward the changes you want to make.

Ongoing session: $150 for 53 minutes
  • Files your insurance claim: You pay the session fee upfront and the provider files the claim for you, so you can get reimbursed directly without worrying about the paperwork

Unfortunately, I am unable to accept insurance for couples/marriage therapy at this time. This service is available on a self-pay basis for $200.00 per 50-minute session. However, my practice is happy to provide superbills upon request for possible out-of-network reimbursement by your insurance plan (please contact your insurer first to determine if your plan carries this benefit).
