The provider is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and is currently working under the supervision of a licensed practitioner. Their current employer is Change Within Reach. I’ve always been the friend people turn to when they need to talk. Not because I had all the answers, but because I truly listened and helped them see things differently. One experience that shaped my path was supporting a close friend who works as a first responder. We’d talk during our daily workouts, and that’s when he’d open up. Those conversations helped him process his experiences, reconnect with his community, and break down the stigma around seeking help. His transformation was visible to those around him and inspired me to turn this natural instinct into a career. After speaking with therapist friends, I sought out my Master’s in Psychology from Pepperdine University. Outside of therapy, I’m a family guy and proud pet dad. I recharge through golf, disc golf, hiking, playing guitar, and catching live music or comedy shows.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Therapy doesn’t have to be intimidating. I’m here to create a space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported. Whether you’re working through something long-standing or trying to navigate something new, we’ll go at your pace.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

As a therapist, I lead with empathy and realism. I don’t follow a rigid structure or check boxes. Instead, I shape each session around what you truly need. Whether that’s cutting to the chase, venting freely, or just having a moment of honest laughter. My style is conversational, approachable, and focused on real change that lasts beyond the session. I draw from a range of methods, including CBT, mindfulness, narrative, person-centered, solution-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing. I specialize in anxiety, ADHD, depression, grief, addiction, life transitions, and motivation.
