Psychotherapist
CT
Welcome, my name is Adam McReynolds. My ideal clients are individuals and families navigating trauma, identity, and major life transitions‚whether due to military service, complex relationships, or adolescence. Many people feel overwhelmed by the weight of their past or unsure of how to move forward. We want to feel empowered, emotionally safe, and in control of our lives. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a combat Veteran certified in EMDR, I specialize in trauma recovery, relationship dynamics, and Sex Therapy. I offer a supportive, direct, and culturally responsive space to explore healing and growth. My work blends evidence-based approaches with deep compassion and practical tools. Whether you're working through the lasting impacts of trauma, a teen trying to make sense of your world, or someone in a blended family seeking peace, you're not alone. I've walked alongside many on similar journeys, and I'm here to support yours. Let's take the next step together. I'm not shy to say it like it is.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider's self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan's benefits.
