Psychotherapist

Hi there, I'm Adam! I use a variety of techniques and tools to help you overcome challenges. I practice from a faith-based perspective, but all are welcome. I had PTSD, Depression, and OCD, and am now free. Now it's your turn! This is where you learn to love and like yourself, maybe for the first time. My focus I specialize in Mental Health Evaluations, including court-mandated veterans seeking mental health benefits, parenting evaluations, disability claims, and drug/alcohol assessments. I also work with PTSD, Depression, and OCD. My approach The therapeutic relationship is the foundation of why you get better, combined with techniques to reprogram how you have been operating until now. Therapy is fun, challenging, supportive, safe, and whatever is needed for you to have Joy, Hope, and Win the War of the Mind. My communication style I am very transparent with patients, so they feel welcome to be themselves with me. We are a team helping you to become your own therapist. My job is to help you, not to need me. Therapy is to be an anchor for you as you overcome the War of the Mind and Heart. My journey to mental healthcare I was a patient with PTSD, Depression, and OCD, and I overcame them with therapy. I know what it is like to be in the dark, confused, angry, and at a loss, and I know what it is like to overcome it all. I have helped thousands to do so, and there is no greater joy in it. My goals for you The goal setting is simple and concise: find out which symptoms are worse than others and focus on solutions to help reduce them as soon as possible. We look at all perspectives and avenues to help reduce symptoms while also getting to the root of why you are experiencing them. Our first session The first session is intake, which includes getting to know each other, assessing, diagnosing, and setting treatment goals. The Intake is therapeutic, but the therapy happens after that.
