Getting to know Adam Phillips

As of 1/7/2025, I am only accepting individual clients for new referrals! My passion is working with children, teenagers, young adults, couples, and families to process trauma and difficult experiences so they can experience growth and healing within themselves and their relationships. Through my work with individuals and families, I have learned the deep importance of understanding "what has happened" to people rather than viewing people through the lens of "what is wrong with people." Likewise, I emphasize understanding one's family of origin and how this shapes our views of people and the world, impacting how we relate to others and navigate our world. I work from a relational, psychodynamic, family-systems, trauma-informed, and neurobiological perspective. I hold a Master's in Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor's degree from Holy Family University. Feel free to reach out for more information!

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
