Psychotherapist
CA
Hi, I’m Adam. I believe that every person is born with an innate capacity to grow, heal, and create a truly meaningful life. Sometimes, painful experiences, unsupportive environments, or difficult relationships can block that natural capacity, leaving us feeling stuck, anxious, or overwhelmed. When this happens, I view your symptoms not as personal failures, but as purposeful signals from your body and mind calling for deeper attention. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California, having received my training at Pepperdine University. In my practice, I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, grief, and relationship disconnects. My approach to therapy is client-centered, trauma-informed, and highly experiential. Rather than just analyzing your past, we will work together to gently shift attention to what you are experiencing right now. Drawing from modalities like EMDR, Brainspotting, somatic psychotherapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), we can help reconnect fragmented pieces of your experience to rebuild a sense of safety. For couples, I blend the Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT) with Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help partners co-regulate, repair quickly, and build secure, resilient relationships. Therapy isn’t about fixing you; it’s about uncovering the capabilities you already carry. It is a privilege to offer a compassionate, steady presence where we can slow down, listen inwardly, and help your true self grow and flourish. Outside of the therapy room, you can usually find me spending quality time with my significant other, catching up on cinema, reading, surfing, or enjoying the adventures that life presents. I'm here and ready whenever you are.
