What should a new client know about working with you?
Welcome! I support individuals navigating complex family dynamics, relational trauma, anxiety and depression. More than that, I work with anyone feeling stuck within their life with hopes of creating meaningful change. People who see me may need help making sense of their life experiences or developing strategies to move through them. I'm particularly passionate to work with women and queer individuals. Clients seeing me may be impacted by people pleasing, big feelings, perfectionism, or chronic numbness. If any of this resonates or you just have that feeling, I'd love to connect.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
My approach to counseling is holistic, trauma-informed, and based in psychodynamics. Sessions often consider how your life experiences have brought you to current day concerns. In collaboration, we will define your goals and work through them to create real change. I hope to empower you with an understanding of therapy that can be taken wherever you go.
I know therapy can be a deeply personal space where trust is something that is earned, not given. I believe a healing relationship is rooted in mutual respect, care, and autonomy. I invite all individuals of lived experiences or backgrounds into my practice. It would be an honor to know you!
