Adele Lewis received her Bachelor's degree from Whitman College in Sociology with a minor in Gender Studies. She earned a Master's of Social Work degree at Portland State University and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Adele has over 20 years of experience providing mental health services in a variety of settings including residential treatment facilities, schools, community mental health agencies, and outpatient clinics. In therapy, Adele uses an integrated approach that spans various theoretical perspectives and techniques and is tailored to the specific needs of the clients with whom she works. Her theoretical orientation is person-centered, trauma informed and incorporates attachment principles. Specific therapeutic techniques utilized by Adele include: Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
