At Protecting Peace Counseling Services, PLLC, we create a safe space that allows our clients to unpack their mental load without judgment. We provide compassionate and supportive care that helps our clients become their best selves. We specialize in depression, trauma, burnout, stress, and adjustment disorders. Utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), we help clients reframe unwanted thoughts and behaviors. I hold a Master’s in Social Work and a Bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at Arlington, which have equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support clients effectively.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I take a problem-solving approach to treating mental health. Using evidence-based tools we'll find what works for you in managing your stressors and mental health symptoms to give you back control. Together, we will explore what changes you want for yourself and make a plan to get you there. Through our work, you'll learn more about yourself and what you need for a happy healthy life.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I provide a free 15 minute consultation to establish rapport and determine what you need help with. Once we schedule your first session I help you begin to process the problem you are facing and create a treatment plan with goals to address the problem you have.
