What should a new client know about working with you?

I am someone who genuinely values human connection and believes that every person deserves a space where they can feel supported, understood, and emotionally safe. My passion for therapy comes from a desire to help people navigate difficult moments in life while recognizing their strength, resilience, and ability to heal. As a licensed social worker, I bring both compassion and clinical knowledge into my work. I have experience supporting individuals navigating life’s challenges, major life transitions, and emotional difficulties. I am also certified in grief counseling and understand how deeply loss and change can affect emotional well-being. Clients often describe me as warm, supportive, easy to talk to, and attentive. I strive to create an environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves and know they do not have to face life’s challenges alone. My goal is not only to help clients cope, but to help them heal, grow, and reconnect with the healthiest version of themselves. What is your typical process for working with clients?

I know reaching out for support can be difficult, so I approach the relationship with empathy, curiosity, and without judgment. I believe therapy should feel like a partnership; Therefore, my process begins with building a strong therapeutic relationship. I take the time to understand who you truly are — your experiences, challenges, strengths, and what has brought you to therapy at this point in your life. Our early sessions focus on building trust, identifying patterns, exploring emotions, and clarifying what you hope to gain from therapy. From there, we work together to create realistic goals and develop strategies that fit your unique needs and lifestyle. Some sessions may focus on processing emotions and difficult experiences, while others may focus on problem-solving, coping skills, mindset shifts, or improving emotional balance. Sessions are collaborative and paced according to the client’s comfort level. I tailor my approach to each client because healing is not the same for everyone. Throughout the therapeutic process, at the core, is the belief that clients are the experts in their own lives; Therefore, my role is to provide a supportive space where clients feel empowered, more self-aware, emotionally grounded, confident, and equipped to manage life more effectively.
