Hi there, I'm Adria! My name is Adria Booth. I'm a licensed mental health counselor with a Master’s in Counseling from Upper Iowa University - Fayette. I specialize in sexual trauma and abuse, neurodiversity, anxiety, depression, and LGBTQ+ issues. My ideal clients are individuals aged 16 and up who are navigating the complex aftermath of their experiences. My approach In our sessions, I integrate evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and Sandtray Therapy. These modalities allow us to collaboratively address your unique concerns, helping you develop practical tools to manage anxiety and depression while fostering a deeper understanding of yourself. My focus Are you an individual with a history of sexual trauma? Do you feel your past experiences may be impacting your current relationships? Are you struggling with the effects of sexual trauma or abuse, feeling overwhelmed by anxiety or depression? Do you identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community and seek a safe space to explore your identity? Are you neurodivergent and feeling misunderstood or isolated? Does your teenager show signs of anxiety or depression? Is your teen diagnosed with ADHD or Asperger’s (high-functioning autism)? Is your teen questioning their sexuality, whether sexual orientation or gender identity? My communication style I create a safe, accepting, non-judgmental place to explore feelings of shame, confusion, and isolation stemming from trauma or mental health challenges.
