I hold a Master's in Counseling from Alabama A&M University and a Bachelor's degree from Paine College. I have a solid background in treating symptoms related to depression, anxiety, mood swings, low self-esteem, and lack of concentration. I am well versed in theoretical approaches that include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. In sessions, I implement therapeutic methods such as meditation, mindfulness, grounding, and self-esteem techniques to manage stress and anxiety. I like to meet the client where they are to create an individualized treatment plan that addresses their specific needs.
