One of my strengths is helping clients step back and see the whole picture before narrowing in on solutions. When someone brings a problem to therapy, I listen for the larger container around it: when it started, how it developed, who is involved, what patterns repeat, and what thoughts or feelings are connected to it. My approach is collaborative and active. I use questions, reflection, and clinical feedback to help clients open up their own internal process and understand it more clearly. When useful, I may offer a different angle, but I try to do that carefully and in a way that builds on the client’s own understanding. Therapy with me is not only about venting or being heard, though those things can matter. It is also about understanding what is happening, why it makes sense, and what might begin to shift.
