Getting to know Adriana Konar
Hi, I'm Adriana.
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor working with adolescents, adults, individuals, couples, and families.
For me, it is a passion to work with people who need support in overcoming symptoms of trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, addiction, and life adjustments. I consider therapy a way of guiding people to get back to their true essence and wholeness, as well as healing from the symptoms and effects that trauma has had on their lives.
Born and raised in Romania, I am now based in Illinois. I hold a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School. With a background in education (school and prisons), I have always worked and connected with people from all walks of life at different levels. I have come to understand how important it is to feel connected, not only to others but to ourselves. Consequently, I provide a safe, compassionate space in sessions capable of holding all your emotions and facilitating growth, self-discovery, and life-affirming awareness.
It will be an honor and a privilege to come alongside you on your healing journey.
