Getting to know Adrienne Cecile Evans

I have experience working with individuals and groups to treat a variety of mental health diagnoses, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, Bipolar Disorder, personality disorders, Substance Use Disorder, ADHD, OCD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. I also provide counseling to help address challenges that may have arisen in the client’s life, such as relational issues, loss, acute stressors or trauma, and spiritual crisis. I earned my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. Since 2017, I have resided in Florida. In my free time, I enjoy traveling with my husband to new places, taking long walks on the beach in search of unique shells, and snuggling with our rescue dog from the Bahamas, Denali.

What should a new client know about working with you?

We all face difficulties in life, whether it be with family, romantic relationships, self-esteem, career, decision-making, loss, or completely unforeseen circumstances. As your mental health counselor, I will offer individualized support to help you navigate these challenges. If you so choose, I can incorporate the Christian faith perspective into your counseling experience as well.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
