Hi I am Adrienne (she/they), your friendly neighborhood therapist! Happy to meet you! As an LCSW I focus on you and your environment and how changes can be made to make you happier or less stressed. Or both. Or a different goal. I'm flexible. Additionally I provide a safe and supportive environment to give you the comfort and support you deserve. I graduated with my MSW degree from Fordham University after working hard for many years on my education. I have worked with people who have moderate to severe mental health conditions as well as those with depression & anxiety. I am here to encourage reflection and growth while using CBT techniques, DBT techniques, motivational interviewing and mindfulness while being person centered. My philosophy is that laughter is the best medicine. Now that you know about my career and education, let me talk about myself. In almost every setting I wear sneakers as they are the most comfortable shoe. I enjoy watching anime and reading manga. And reading books in general. I love cats. Coffee and tea are my go-to beverages.
